Birthday Parties
Got a mad scientist on your hands? A lover of all things gooey and slimy? The Tech Interactive is the perfect place for their next birthday bash! We can customize a package that fits your kiddo, with age-appropriate labs, or an IMAX educational film, and all-day access to the world-renowned Tech Interactive. All packages also come with a party area.
Pricing is $47 per person, with a minimum of 25 to book. Members at the Future Four or Silicon Six level receive 10% off all birthday party packages!

Science Spectacular Birthday Celebration
Party package includes:
- All-day admission to The Tech Interactive for 15 kids and 10 adults.
- Lab Learners Experience OR Educational IMAX Theater Experience.*
- Party area for 1.5 hours. Includes tablecloths, napkins, cake plates, and forks.
- It’s my birthday button (orange or purple options).
- $10 gift voucher to shop in the Tech Store.
Lab Learners Experience Options
Lab Learners includes a facilitated lab experience. Choose from Slime-a-Palooza, Fizzy Fun Factory, Edible Engineering, or Coaster Craze Construction.
Or, select from one of our many educational films (50 min) which includes a personal announcement before the show and a 10% discount at concession. For more information on film offerings call 408-294-8324, option 3.

Slime-a-Palooza
We know kids love making slime and parents love it when they don’t do it at home! We’ll teach your slime-loving kids all about the properties of polymers while they create the stretchy, squishy slime!

Fizzy Fun Factory
Mad scientists will love learning all about chemical reactions while making fizzy fun bath bombs.

Edible Engineering
Get the chance to create a structure of edible materials for gummy bears to live in! Will their delicious structure be able to withstand the stress of an earthquake? Guests will learn
some of the basic science behind earthquakes and structural engineering as they build creative
constructs of confection!Ages 5+

Coaster Craze Construction
Learn about engineering and physics through hands-on building and problem-solving, as they design and construct their own roller coaster.

The fine print
Private rooms may be available for an additional cost. Please check availability when booking. Outside food set up and clean up fee: $100 fee nonrefundable.
Payment policy
A $250 nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of reservation and the balance is due two weeks prior to your reservation date. You will automatically be charged for the full amount two weeks before the event. We will charge the same credit card used at the checkout unless otherwise noted at booking.
Cancellation policy
To cancel your event, please contact the Group Reservations Department, groupreservations@thetech.org. Any cancellations two weeks prior to the event will result in the $250 deposit being applied to cancellation fees. If the event cancels within two weeks of the event after full payment has been made, no refunds will be given.
