Objectives:

• Students will obtain information about seven extreme weather conditions (rainstorms, thunderstorms, heat waves, Santa Ana winds, hurricanes, tornadoes, and blizzards) and be able to describe them and their effects.
• Students will present a mock weather forecast to the class to describe the extreme weather conditions in a picture, as well as communicate how to prepare for the event.
