Let's Celebrate Innovation!
The Tech for Global Good program and annual celebration showcases the inspiring work of the world’s greatest STEM innovators that are using the power of technology to tackle big problems, benefiting humanity on a global scale. Their stories are premiered at the annual celebration, and showcased throughout The Tech Interactive as an exhibition, a lab for field trip students, and as an online curriculum for educators (and more!)—inspiring students from across the globe to see how they, too, can use technology as a problem solving tool.
At this year’s celebration on October 19, we are honoring a Global Humanitarian and four Laureates who have created innovative technology harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve societal challenges, enhance human well-being, and drive sustainable development worldwide.

AI For Good
For years, The Tech has been using AI in exhibits and created computational thinking courses for educators. We believe that as a Science and Technology Center in the heart of Silicon Valley, it is imperative that we help the next generation understand how AI can be leveraged for global good.
AI technologies have the potential to address some of the world's most pressing challenges, from climate change and healthcare to education and poverty alleviation. By grasping the fundamentals of AI, young people can become active contributors to these solutions rather than passive recipients. Moreover, AI literacy fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ethical considerations, preparing the youth to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
By highlighting AI through the 2024-25 Tech for Global Good , we are empowering the next generation to be proactive agents of change, leveraging technology to create a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous global community.
