Brownies

Explore different types of robots in our Robo-Designers badge program! Brownies will learn how robots make use of sensors, and will then go on to brainstorm, design, prototype and build their own robots!

• $5 goes to Girl Scouts of Northern California.
• This program covers all 5 steps in the Designing Robots Badge, and entry to The Tech Interactive for the whole day. It also includes the Robots IMAX, the badge, and a Tech fun patch.
• This badge program has a maximum capacity of 28 Girl Scouts. If fewer than 10 girls have registered two weeks in advance, the program will be canceled and The Tech Interactive will issue refunds.

Science is all around us! Can you make pepper dance using the amazing properties of electricity? Brownies can! They then become kitchen chemists using everyday pantry items to experiment with delicious treats, explore properties of density, and blow up a balloon without using their breath. Finally, Brownies will learn how science can be used to make toys by making their very own silly putty and a DIY lava lamp to take home!

• This program covers all 5 steps in the Home Scientist Badge, and entry to The Tech Interactive for the whole day. Brownies will go home with the badge and a Tech fun patch.
