The Tech Interactive is thrilled to bring back LASERS! at The Tech. These dazzling laser shows are set to hit music that light up the Bay Area’s only IMAX® Dome Theater every week!

The Beat Meets the Beam

Experience vibrant beams of light cutting through haze, creating captivating displays of color and patterns, all synced to the music of popular artists and bands like Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Daft Punk, and more!

Each show features mesmerizing laser graphics projected on The Tech Interactive’s iconic IMAX Dome. Whether you enjoy rock, EDM, pop, or classic hits, there’s a show for everyone!

Event Details

Ticket Pricing:
  • Adult: $16 per show
  • Child, Student, Seniors (65+): $12 per show
Arrival:
  • Show will start immediately at the scheduled time. There will be no previews before airtime. For your safety, no late arrivals will be permitted.
Show Details:
  • Shows range from 45-55 minutes long with no intermission.
Accessibility:
  • Our IMAX Dome Theater includes four spaces for wheelchairs with four adjacent companion/semi-ambulatory seats. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that parties will be seated together. A staff member will escort visitors to these seats from the elevator. If you need any assistance, please notify IMAX staff at least 20 minutes before show time.

    Then keep the exploration going during AI Literacy Weekend, March 27-29, with hands-on activities designed for curious minds of all ages. Try to spot AI-generated images, see if you can trick an AI into seeing something that is not really there, and explore how machines interpret everyday questions.

  • National AI Literacy Day: Educator Exclusive

    Join us to explore NGSS-aligned lessons that support students of all ages to explore how complex AI models are developed to address real-world challenges. Participants will explore both the opportunities and challenges in using AI and discuss ways in which AI can support learners of all ages. This workshop will include unplugged and plugged AI activities. This workshop is part of The Tech Interactive’s annual National AI Literacy Day event.

    Educators will also have access to the Tech Interactive’s National AI Literacy Day resources as part of this workshop.

  • Project Hail Mary

    IMAX Dome Theater

    See Project Hail Mary in the IMAX® Dome Theater and step inside a mission with no backup plan. Science teacher Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory slowly returns, he soon discovers he must solve the riddle behind a mysterious substance that's causing the sun to die out. As details of the mission unravel, he calls on his scientific training and sheer ingenuity -- but he may not have to do it alone.

  • The Tech Challenge 2026: Raise The Roof Showcase

    Now in its 39th year, The Tech Challenge invites teams of students in Grades 4-12 to use the engineering design process to solve a real-world problem. 

    The Tech Challenge Final Showcase is the program’s big finale, on April 25 and April 26, a weekend during which teams interview with judges, demonstrate their devices on a test rig and present their engineering journal. It is an inspiring event enjoyed by participants, advisers, family and friends!
